Arnie Ferguson - In Memoriam
It is with regret that we announce the death of Honorary
Member and former Leeds Irish Golf Society Captain Arnie
Ferguson. A service of remembrance will be held at Rawdon
Crematorium on Monday 7th December at 3.30pm.

Eugene Heffernan
It is with regret that we announce the death of Eugene Heffernan.
Eugene was a former captain and chairman of the Society,
and will be greatly missed by all who know him.

FUR AND FEATHER COMPETITION: 21ST FEB
The Fur and Feather competition will be played on Sunday
21st February at Temple Newsam Golf Course. The first
tee-off time will be at 10.30am.
We would like as many members as possible to attend as
we complete last year’s fixtures. Membership fees of £25
or £10 for concessions can also be paid on the day, so
please turn up early.

Chairman’s Day: results
Congratulations to Lee Davies, who won at the Chairman’s
Day competition at Temple Newsam with 38 points. J.P.
Moriarty came second with 35 points. Thanks to everyone
who took part.

Captain’s Day - result
We would like to thank all those who attended the
Captain’s Day competition on Sunday 2nd August for
coming.
1st Place: JP Moriarty - 39 points
2nd Place: S Mannion - 37 points
3rd Place: Mick Creaby - 37 points

Allied Irish: results
Congratulations to Stevie Poyser, who won this year’s
Allied Irish Trophy at Cobble Hall with 35 points. Peter
Foley came second with 35 points, and Eddie Stapleton
finished third with 34 points. Thanks to all those who
attended.

LEEDS IRISH CENTRE 40TH ANNIVERSARY GOLF DAY
There will be a Golf Day held on Wednesday 9th June
to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Leeds Irish
